Embed Youtube Videos In your WordPress Blog

Steve Clark asked me how to put Youtube Videos in a post, and since I haven’t done that yet, I made a little research and found out that youtube support in WordPress can be pain in the neck if done incorrectly.

I stumbled upon Shandy King’s Post and learned that the solution was simple: Simply turn off the Visual RichText Editor when posting a video, and that will do the trick.

  1. Go to Your Admin Panel
  2. Click on Users and find your profile
  3. Uncheck “Use The Visual Editor When Writing”
  4. Click on “Update Profile” to save the changes

That’s it! If you’re still having trouble, watch this embedded youtube video and learn how it is done:

Good luck!!
