What Is Your Strongest Point?

During one of our ice breaker games when I was at the end of my teenage years, a friend gave me a question: “What is your strongest point?” that made me think hard.

Usually, one would answer that by giving his or her positive attitudes that s/he possesses: one would say “honesty”, or “humility”, or maybe “good looks”. But I feel staying within the territory of the clichè, will only keep you into the thick of typicality. One should aspire to be the cream that rises to the top.

So I answered, “My strongest point is knowing my weaknesses and doing something about it.” I believe knowing your weaknesses will open a lot of rooms for improvement and will bring you up to another level of self esteem. Confident people look for their weaknesses and turn them to opportunities to improve themselves.

Twelve years later, I realize it is easier said than done. My strongest point needs more polishing. :D

I believe my greatest strength is knowing how to look for tools that will help me to overcome my weaknesses, and improve my strengths.

I also just added you to my technorati favorites.

      Hey Saedel,

I must admit that is a very good answer in my humble opinion. and indeed very difficult in itself. I don’t think the trouble is necessarily identifying the problem, but actually changing yourself.
