Thanks, thats very useful to know! I must admit to being a bit hopeless in the kitchen, but I’m trying my best to learn. Admitting iis the first step right!? I promised to cook a whole meal for my wife this weekend for the first time – very exciting! I found some simple recipe at this website, seems to be designed exactly for people like me, which is fantastic! I am definitely going to try this next time I have cooked something with a strong smell. I absolutely adore cinnamon so I am looking foward to testing it out.

This reminds me of how nice the house smells when I prepare cider with mulling spices. I will try this trick the next time I cook something stinky, which might not be until cooler weather sets in. As long as it’s warm, I prefer to grill.
